Directly at the Hochalterkar ski and hiking area, our long-established Kühtaier Alm invites both those seeking relaxation and active vacationers to take a break from everyday life. Surrounded by peace and idyll, we welcome you up here at an altitude of 2,020 meters with warm Tyrolean hospitality and are pleased that we can provide you with a carefree stay. You should feel completely comfortable – that is our ultimate goal!
Our house was opened in 1996 and still offers contemporary comfort today – almost 30 years later. Above all, it is the familiar atmosphere, the courteous service and the delicious food that our countless regular guests appreciate so much about our traditional house.
With us you live in the best location. In winter you are only a few meters away from the ski lift opposite, in summer you can start your leisurely tours through the fascinating mountain world right outside the front door. Back in our house, you can be surrounded by pleasant warmth in our sauna area and finally find complete relaxation with a professional massage.
In our restaurant we rely on regional ingredients and traditional recipes. In the cozy, rustic room with a view of nature, you can enjoy real Tyrolean delicacies that are sure to put a smile on your face. In the morning, the smell of freshly baked baked goods lures you out of bed: at our buffet you will find a wide selection of sweet and savory delicacies that you can help yourself to to your heart's content. Self-caterers can conveniently pick up their bread rolls from us and enjoy a hearty breakfast in their accommodation with their loved ones.
Stress and hectic schedules have no place on vacation. That's why we're happy to reserve your rental ski equipment, register you for ski lessons, or organize tickets for all sorts of leisure attractions. You can conveniently purchase your ski pass online or at reception, and the bus will get you to your chosen destination quickly and easily – thanks to the Welcome Card, it's even free. How about a trip to Innsbruck, for example? We'd be happy to give you personal tips on sights to see in our region. Just ask us anytime!

An oasis of peace and relaxation awaits you in the Hotel Konradin, a three-minute walk away. For €28 you can spend a relaxing day in the spacious wellness area with saunas, indoor pool, whirlpool, infrared cabin and fitness room. We would be happy to register you for the day spa – just let us know at reception!
